Digital SkillUp Final Event - 'Path to the Digital Decade: Upskilling in Emerging Technologies'

  • What: Digital SkillUp final event - 'Path to the Digital Decade: Upskilling in Emerging Technologies'

  • When: Thursday, 9th of December, 09.30 AM – 12.00 PM (CET)

  • Where: online via MS Teams (meeting link provided upon registration)

The European Commission has set ambitious goals in its Digital Decade, pledging to have more than 20 million ICT specialists and the 80% of all population with basic digital skills by 2030.

Understanding emerging technologies, their disruptive power on society and businesses, and the opportunities coming along is crucial to deliver upskilling practices and achieve the Digital Decade's goal.

The Digital SkilUp final event will dive into upskilling practices for emerging technologies. In the first part of the event, we will put forward the perspectives of SME representatives, training providers, citizens, policy-makers and Academia, in an attempt to answer questions such as: What is the impact of emerging technologies on European citizens and businesses? How do we achieve an inclusive and sustainable upskilling process that leaves no one behind?

In the second part, we would love to hear your vision and ideas on how European citizens, SMEs and training providers can make the most out of the digital transformation and of mainstreaming emerging technologies in daily life activities and work processes.

Interactive breakout sessions will facilitate the discussions with the audience, and you will have the chance to exchange contacts for possible future collaboration. The event will also be an opportunity for you to understand how to become Associated Member of the Digital SkillUp initiative and support its mission.

The webinar is divided in two parts, check the detailed agenda and register for one or both sessions!
